The day after our retirement party, we went to a Hansen's Garden Ornaments, just south of Ottawa, where they manufacture concrete garden art, to choose a bird bath or fountain for our yard, as a gift from Stephen's family (parents, brother, and sister).
There were a LOT to choose from. We opted for a pagoda-shaped fountain (though it was hard to walk away from those gnomes, and angels and Buddhas . . .).

It's a quiet fountain, as fountains go, but we do hope the splishing water and sparkling light will encourage the cardinals who occasionally visit us to spend a little longer with us.
